Just venting. Going on trip tomorrow with family to way back ancestors land.Invited hub to go. He does not work so he is free. I work alot and am not often free, wanted him to see this.
I kept telling him to wash his clothes and pack. He said he would several times but then he did not. So while I was cooking dinner I washed them so he could pack. He sulked in the living room because dinner was late 7:30p. He is currently only eating once daily so he was really hungry and told me not to cook but I had already thawed meat and poured ingredients out. After washing dishes I then fell asleep on sofa(yup I do this).
I woke to him complaining about how I'm not serious about wanting to get pregnant because I fell asleep on the sofa again and I wont rent a hotel rm while out of town.( I dont want to spend 4 night hotel fee.) My aunt has a really big house there. Then he said he needs space because I'm so frustrating and he will reconsider if going and if he goes he will sleep separately.

Why doesn't your husband do the dishes when you cook?
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@quitwhendone He says that one person should do one thing. He doesn't like to wash after me.
@REMsleep Last time I checked, cooking and cleaning dishes were two separate things but OK.

So what does he do at home?
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@quitwhendone He is supposed to be the housekeeper but to be honest hes bad at that job. He does some motions but never to completion. The house is messy. Wasnt my choice but he has bad anxiety. He said if we can have a child he will take bulk of work because I travel alot. Also he sometimes works solo at my business project which involves him to stay out of town for 1 or 2 months at a time but hes been home now for 4 months.
@REMsleep The bulk of the childraising work?
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@quitwhendone Yes. I travel often for my corporate job so his support is the only way it can work
@REMsleep Well, I hope it works out for you two. Good luck.
