I don't think I know any women who have a male best friend unless it is her husband, the one girl I dated with a guy for a best friend cheated, so, I think that if you play with fire you are eventually going to get burned. I wouldn't date a woman with a guy for a bestie again. Too much drama.

None. It's fine. You're allowed to have friends when in a relationship.

People in relationships should be allowed to have friends.
I think it is fine.

I have never comprehended why some believe that when they "partner up" that they should ghost all their friends of the opposite sex. Or their partner believes such nonsense and encourages them to do so.

TBH: It took a long time for my spouse to comprehend that none of the female friends I have had for the majority of my life were out to hook-up with me.
It’s possible to have a friend of the opposite sex and have no interest in fucking them.

However most of society will be too brittle to accept that— so it’s probably going to be a problem.

This is why we can’t have nice things. Like platonic friends. Some of the comments here.
seems legit. People do it all
The time.

One gets different things out of different relationships.
Hopefully one's best friend is the one you're in the relationship with.

Lol, the only people that think this is problematic are the ones that can't keep their pants on

Guess it really depends if her best friend had a history with her. If not no big deal.
Fernie · F
It would only bother insecure people. People need other friends in their lives

It's only an issue if she's has no moral compass.

She's not in a relationship then... that's just a cover story.

That’s not a problem...
Until it’s a problem

Your best friend should be your partner.
