Want to help me find a wedding dress I might like?
Tonight my boyfriend gave me an engagement ring I absolutely love it and Im excited. He's been married twice before this is my first. I already know I want my colors to be blue and white. I don't want anything too pricy because I'll only wear it once and it won't be a big wedding when the day comes but I want to look absolutely flawless at the same time. Not a fan of ruffles. Love corsets sleeveless not very poofy.
Congratulations. It looks beautiful. Although I am engaged, I didn't receive the ring yet because it's a tradition in his family to give ring in a ceremony. So we're waiting till that happens.
@Mona86 Not aiming to be as rude as you just were. But no the engagement isn't fake, and quite frankly I wouldn't want a huge ring. I like the one he gave me. See, the love and meaning behind it is big enough for me that I don't care about the cost of the ring. And that's because I'm not a gold digger. I know how much time he put in at work to get it, the time he took to plan and the way he gave it to me. And that means way more than how much money he put into it. Especially when we just moved into a bigger place. Man could've super glued a damn rhinestone to a bread tie and I'd still be glad to marry him. 🙄
for his third engagement, you'd think it, be a bigger, Safire, but real Safires are pretty way out of market price, sooo that must have been the cheapest he could afford. or it's a a fake engagement ?
@Mona86 Engagement and wedding rings are so grossly over-priced and afforded way to much meaning - who gives a rats ass about the 'size' of it - it's the person's actions that count. Not the ring. Relationships don't (or shouldn't) depend on tokenistic things.
