Asking for a copy of the house keys?

You and you partner don't live together BUT your partner wants you to pay half of they bills. Would you ask for the house key?

If i dont live there i dont pay half their bills. Dont go down that road i tried to help a gf out when she was struggling she just kept wanting to borrow mire and more without actually trying to get her bills in order. Led me into debt and depression and she dumped me as soon as I couldn't bail her out anymore.
