Why do my friends keep bugging me about finding a man?

I haven't dated in five months. I just got out of a relationship. My best friend said, "We gotta work on finding YOU a man. Don't you wanna nice guy?"
My ex boyfriend was a jerk to me and insulted my deceased mother and said I needed to stop grieving over a woman that didn't give a shit about me. I dumped his ass. We've been together for 11 months. July would have been a year. My friends invited me to the Valentine's day dance. It's a special needs dance for adults. I'll go but I'm not there to find a man. I don't want one. My there friend said, "Never say never. You might meet someone. You're a very pretty girl, you're going to find someone. Besides you gotta get into the dating scene. A few months ago, they told me I wait until I'm ready. Now they're telling me I need to find a man. They both got new boyfriend's. They're almost NEVER single. They told me I'm almost 30 and it's time to start looking.
