Is it truly possible to have genuinely loved a spouse you've cheated on the entirety of your marriage?

People seem to have different ideas of how love works. My first instinct is to say no, you don't love someone if you cheat on them. Then again, I've been cheated on by someone who went above and beyond showing love in different ways. So, it's hard to say.
