What would you do?

Let’s say you and a partner planned date night. The day of the date night comes and you’re excited. The other person is not as thrilled as you are you notice but they express to you they do want to go out but later on in the day. You wait until later on in the day around 5 and call the person, no mention of the date just a lot of talking to other people in the background. You call back at 7 and ask is this date night still going to happen and now they claim it’s too late. How would you react in this scenario? And would you be upset?
