Have pick up lines ever actually worked on anyone????
Do people using them think that they actually work???? Plus, most of them are recycled lines anyways??? Like if you wanna use a pick up line on someone, at least make it original 馃槾

Anything can work with enough confidence, honestly. Or if the pick up lines are used ironically.
I knew one dude who picked up a chick by saying he was an alien from outerspace, and he wanted her to come check out his spaceship. She went home with him.
Of course, he had to try that line on a bunch of chicks, but only has to work once.

one, just because a thing works, does not mean it is good to do
sticking up someone with a gun works, it is [i]just wrong[/i]
the "pick up" community is largely gynophobic and misogynistic. and it's tools have only one goal, to get sex, without [i]considering if it is right to do so[/i].
fools are plentiful and as you say Confidence is an effective attractant.
some of these things "work" because women can get as horny as men ( MORE!) and [i]loneliness is a form of pain[/i] they would like to leave behind.
they believe, wrongly that if i give him what he wants? i wont be lonely any more.
that is not to suggest that Lust, for its own sake is purely a male thing
[b]far from it[/b] Sexually open women in or culture are labled as sluts and worse, so they have to be on the downlow, [i]even to themselves[/i] about WHY they went out,dressed attractively.
as a younger, handsome and self confidant man, I had more than my share of hot encounters. EVERY kind of pick up method works when YOU are attractive and confident and SHE wants male companionship.
