Is putting the ring in the bottom of the drink too cliche of a marriage proposal?

Probably would put it in the bottom of a wine or champagne glass so it's visible. Safety and all. Cliche perhaps? But who gives a fuck about how anyone feel. If you going to do it do it your way.
