If you had a good time the first date, spark or no, then why not?

@SW-User Ha probably not very long!

@coachTanthony The fires died down too quickly. 😔

Some pretty intense flames start as a slow smolder...

@SooperSarah I agree totally!

Only if my curiosity is piqued. Sometimes potential takes a little longer to be realized.

I think people deserve a second chance. If you like everything else about that person, and the spark never appears, then you might have made a good friend of the opposite sex.

@4meAndyou Good point!

Second date, possibly. But if still no spark, it's not gonna work. There has to be an initial attraction to keep my interest.

SW-User
Yeah give it a second go just to be sure

it's tricky. For me it isn't about wasting time really, but more about creating expectations to the other person, ending up hurting them. It is of course up to them to handle it but you know, i'm thinking about it. Still i'd go.

If the first date wasn’t horrible, why not go on a second date...the spark may occur on the second date.
JupiterDreams · 31-35
I would.
Scarfface · 46-50, M
Yes, it's always worth trying again.
Nerves can effect first dates.
I also think the 'spark' thing is for teens.

Zonuss · 46-50, M
Not really. Because the second date would mean there is a spark in the first one. 🤔
coachTanthony · 51-55, M
@Zonuss Well if you believe int he spark and it occurred sure.
