Not just men, but remember that YOU feel the reality of _your_ life & thoughts & emotions in a way which _no one else_ CAN feel them...
Have you thought of trying to express your grief/loss and your sadness/loneliness through some form of art...? Write prose, stories, poems, draw, sculpt, compose...and then share with your husband.
