Why do some people on dating apps find it necessary to wear bikini tops (for chickies) or topless (for dudes)?

Isn’t it obvious what they’re selling? Most dating sites are actually hook-up sites.

Sure, they may look good, but someone who wants to be inquired about a serious relationship doesn’t take those measures.
