Is it wise to take out a loan for a divorce lawyer?

@SW-User I got the thought by watching the tv series "Two and a half men", and now that I think about it, the irony in it is that Alan's family only offered him support with his second divorce.

I don’t recommend debt in almost any circumstance but if there’s no other choice to cash flow the expenses, it’s a desperate situation and you can’t work something out with the attorney then it’d be an option to take. Just wouldn’t be my first choice

I very much doubt it unless you're wealthy, in which case you wouldn't need a loan in the first place. Lawyers fees are exorbitant enough without adding third part interest rates to them.
