Cheating is cheating. More than one woman he's cheating on makes it even worse. Being with the same person for so long is just messed up. Why even stay married.

In terms of rationalizing it I'd say multiple women. One woman for a long time implies an emotional relationship. A bunch of women is probably just sex.
