At what age do women start to get interested in financial security with a partner?

Depends on the maturity level of both partners and where they are in their careers. A friend of mine, who is career focused right now, dumped her boyfriend because he wasn't paying rent.

To be fair.. that was more a feature of the past.. where the woman was expected to give up work once they marry... and would expect to be supported financially.. also some countries where that still is expected..

@Adaydreambeliever I think one of the things I like best is the post war economy. Like you could literally be offered work instead of having to fight with 200 other people for the same low level position.

@canusernamebemyusername well that was the case too in the 80s... you would get incentives for recommending friends to your employer.. and for a long while there I really believed that I could get any job I applied for.. those times have gone!

@Zonuss you cynical old thing you! Sooo are we saying then that poor people never marry, never get into relationships? We know they do.. so this tells us that women marry for love or? as well as those relatively few who can nab themselves a rich man!
