Would you date an amazing, but financially unstable man?

I’ve been with my bf for almost 2 years now... he used to be a contractor with a big company and he had this job for two years where he was able to save 30k... he lost 15k in stock and the job didn’t extend his contract.... so now he is looking for different jobs and trying to make money in the side. He doesn’t want to use his stock money in hopes that his stock will go up, so he still has 15k in stock and he has 0 dollars in his debit card and is debt in credit cards about 2k.... he has filed for unemployment but were not sure why he hasn’t gotten money from them yet. So he’s doing side jobs for quick cash so that he can quickly deposit money to his bank. What’s even more annoying to me is that the jobs he’s doing isn’t even in NYC (where we live)- he’s traveling all the way to Connecticut to do all day jobs for 250 a day since his family lives there.

I really wish he would apply for a full time job or at least look for jobs in the city. We’ve had multiple fights about him traveling to CT just for a one day gig which is every Wednesday now for 250 dollars. We have also had multiple fights about his stock situation that he should take our money from it but he hasn’t listened. I’m getting very tired and frustrated with all of this. He thinks I am being too complicated but all I want is stability... I just don’t like when my bf is going all around for quick cash jobs instead of focusing on an actual career and a full time job or even a job in his own city. Am I being too much??

He’s 27 and I’m 26

I married someone who's never had a job. It's okay because I'm a good provider.
