Set them free?

If you were being held captive with someone you are madly in love with and find out there is a way to set them free but not you, would you do it? Knowing you would never see them again? Or keep it to yourself and have them chained with you in torment?

well it's not love if you want to keep them there just for your own desire to spend every minute with them.. that's just obsession and a sickness
