It’s not a big deal to most but these are big steps for me. Someone with terribly low self esteem and social anxiety. It’s hard to do things like that but I’m proud that I took initiative and did :)

Lucky you that you can "message". In my teens and 20s the only options were talking face-to-face or (gasp) making a phone call. My life would have been sooo different if today's technology had been around in those days...
