It would depend on the particular situation I think .

I would if he was going to be in town.

I would not go on a date with someone who would be gone in a week

I don't date strangers from other countries.

Not sure why you’re asking ladies, but I wouldn’t go on a date with a traveler. Have sex, sure, but LDR sucks (although I’m in one right now) and there are other people.
