Advice on how to flirt?

Basically my best friend (who is a male) was snapchatting one of his friends. That guy asked for my snapchat and now we are messaging. I have met him once and will be seeing him in several weeks for an event, but in the meantime it will have to be over snapchat. He is incredibly forward and likes to flirt but I have no idea to respond. What are some good lines which would get the conversation going and give the hint that I am interested?

Respond back, recipricate and put out the notion that you're interested. Laugh when you think he said something fun or cooky, compliment him as well(Ex: Guy calls you cute. Indicate that you think he's cute to maybe by saying "Right back at ya") you could also ask him more questions about him to let him know you wanna know more about him, Like maybe: "What do you do?" "What kind of music do you like?" "Have any hobbies?" Ect. Just be reciprcative, interested, find stuff to relate over to.
