Should I feel uncomfortable or upset that my boyfriend says things in his sleep?

Serious answers only.

I'm awake at night longer than he is, and last night I heard him say, "If he can find an ass like that."
Then just now tonight, he was mentioning about a, "pretty little mouth".
I think I'm overreacting because he can't really control his dreams unless he Lucid dreams, but he doesn't do that. Should I mention anything? Thanks. :/
You could ask him what he was dreaming about and see what he says. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it though.
Back when black ops 3 came out and I was playing it all the time I said "sometimes you just have to stab a bitch in the face" in my sleep :s

This made me feel so much better. xD
I'm sure everyone on here is right, I shouldn't make such a big deal out of it.
I wouldn't worry about it, and I'm about as paranoid as they come.
I would start recording it, play it back to him and ask him if he associates it with anything.

And I know he didn't do anything, because he's just dreaming, but it's okay, I was just freaking out over nothing. :)
@Serenitree: no it's not. I would tell him about it and play it back to him. Nothing accusing about it, if he has nothing to hide he might find it entertaining.

Ask him who has a pretty little mouth. Betcha he won't remember the dream at all.

The likelihood of his dreams being in any way related to reality, or to his hidden desires, is very low!
When I dream things, usually they're just completely weird, and often scary - if I spoke in my sleep, I'd come out with all sorts of nonsense that would have NO meaning to my life, and make no difference to my relationships!

And anyway ... how can you be so sure that it wasn't YOUR mouth and ass he was dreaming of ...?!?!😉

[c=#003BB2]they are just dreams, I wouldn't pay much attention to it[/c]

I don't know if I talk in my sleep, because I'm usually the night owl in my relationships, so I'd typically be awake longer than whomever I was with at the time and she would be asleep if I did talk.

I do know that I have two different types of dreams, those I can't remember for more than an hour or two after awakening, and those I never forget.

The ones I can't remember for very long are just my brain processing my life, etc.

The ones I never forget are of two types of their own: some are of future events that will happen in this life, and others are glimpses into other lifetimes I've lived or will live.

So it might be useful to know which dreams he remembers and which he doesn't. The ones he can always remember will be the interesting ones.

No, dreams are not under a person's control. Plus 9 out of 10 times we really don't even remember our dreams, and ones you do remember is only a small fraction of the dreams we have at night.

I'm sorry I don't understand what what he says "means" to you. If you're uncomfortable then you can ask

He obviously thinks you look good or he would be saying nasty stuff.

Are all your dreams G rated?
SaraxKay · 26-30, F
Good point, lol and literally no.

@Sara-Kay: 😁
Nothing to worry about. We can't control, and often don't remember, our dreams. If he said that stuff while awake, then I would be concerned.

Ask him "Do you think I have a pretty little mouth"..
And see how he reacts!
