How do you even start something that could lead to a real relationship?

I have begun to notice that a lot of my friends have started seeing someone or enterted I’m to relationships all the wile I feel like I am being swept to the side.

So, what am I even supposed to do in this kind of situation?

You are young. You should not be so determined to enter into relationships. Most of them don't work out anyway. This is a good time to build your life, develop yourself, discover new things, meet new people. And it shouldn't really matter that those around you are mostly involved romantically while you are not. You will have your chances, believe me. Meanwhile, take the time to be interested in other things, explore life a little, venture out of your usual stuff and become a person interesting enough, and interested enough, to attract someone as worthwhile as you will then be.
