Have you ever put a woman into the friend zone?

CharlieZ · 70-79, M
Seems that someone is put in the so called "Friends Zone" WHEN is interested (or have hopes)in becoming a romantic / sexual partner, GF, lover, something. And that interest is unilateral, while friendship is still valued.
To say the least, an uncomfortable if not painful state of things.

I have in my life a women that are not in the "Friends Zone" but are genuine Friends. Some of them since 40 to 50 years ago.

Having a woman in such "Zone" happened to me three times in my (long) life.

Once, long ago, with a close lifetime friend. But I was totally unaware of her feelings and I was never told till it vanished.

Another time, later, with who was my colleague and business partner. But I was (even if not happily at all) married. Her interest was no silent but she knew my limits, so nothing happened for years.
After my divorce, and almost a year later, we become ...something like "business partners with…". We remain friends till that ended.

There is now a case, but I´m not completelly sure if her "interest" is not only a decades long friendly joke.

Years ago, I had no interest but she never got the hint. I'm glad she moved on, she should have someone that wants her.

I'm not into women, so they are all in the friend zone. Lol. I have put a few men in the friend zone.

I've tried. Didn't work out too well if the girls I'm friends with. 😂

Believe it or not All but two friends have gotten spicy. And the two that haven't, one isn't interested in that stuff and the other is in a relationship. So.. I don't even think they count.

But still.

Yes. I'm not bi, so that's where I put all females.
