If your ex rang your doorbell one night saying, "I have no place to sleep"

What would you?

I don't harbour any ill feelings towards any woman I've been with... I'd probably let her stay on my couch....

You are kind!

theres no point in feeling anger towards a person that I no longer have in my life. I'm usually pleased when I run into my exes. I wish them well in their lives and hope they wish me well also. The people we meet in life are all part of our journey.

@Motherfuckerjones: I agree but I think that for most people it is all dependent on the reason behind why the breakup occurred. Remember people don't get over betrayal and lies easily. I for one would rather leave the past in the past but if my ex needed help I would never have to think twice. This is how I am with everyone, he should be not an exception to my rule if always being kind hearted

Maybe I just haven't been betrayed too badly by any of my exes... I do inspire loyalty and attract it to me from women.... the reasons for my break ups tend to be more to do with drama and getting tirednof each other... people move on and mostly happy memories remain on both sides.
