my ex now: *ignores my messages completely*

he was one of my closest friends before we got together and now he won't talk to me...

he promised we'd still talk.

You know I had an ex like that. She wanted to be friends after we broke up then one day I said hi to her and she SCREAMED at me "I HAVE A BOYFRIEND NOW!!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT?" "I thought you wanted to be friends. I'll just go then."

Oddly enough I met the next girl I would end up dating (until the breakup) that same night. I'd say if he wants to blow you off, who needs him. If an ex truly wants to remain friends they have to make the effort. Otherwise it's a waste of time in my opinion.
