Just meeting someone?

Just met a great guy and went on a date with him over the weekend 2 days in a row. 😍
After the weekend ended him and I message each other once a day or once every other day. Trying not to have anxiety or anything, but this kind of communication is normal right? As in you don't have to message each other early morning and then at night. Just when you have the time?
