Do you think it would be okay for me to switch from Christianity to Catholicism for my girlfriend or wife?

Say she's Catholic and I'm Christian, but then I chose to join her church.

Same religion. No big problem.

@ImKelsey He said it’s same but different.

@SimplyTracie Well, that makes a lot of sense...

@ImKelsey the churches are different in certain rules they set.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@ImKelsey If it’s more same than different then she could convert as easily as he could. Correct?

@SimplyTracie Attend each the same amount.
Billybob2 · 26-30, M
@SimplyTracie Not necessarily, some are tough to crack, so to speak.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Billybob2 Does she agree that it’s the same?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@ImKelsey I think that’s a good idea. Learn about the “other” church and then make a decision.
Billybob2 · 26-30, M
@SimplyTracie Yes, but she loves her church. I don't think I love mine as much as she loves hers.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Billybob2 Ohhh 😮
I suppose it doesn’t matter much as long as you love God.

@SimplyTracie Like I've said, I was brought into the Christian church at a very young age. I never really got to choose for myself, I think exploring another option might be good.

@Billybob2 As you implied, it’s values are likely the same. I think that it’s more important that you respect each other even if you decide that Catholicism isn’t your cup of tea.
