Should kids be prohibited from using condoms?

And/or other forms of birth control? I've heard strong opinions from each side about this. On the one hand, birth control limits pregnancy, which could be good or bad, and limits diseases. On the other, it causes side effects, is against many religions, can be uncomfortable, and may make some not as aware of the consequences of their actions. Different places have different laws about it too, like you need your parents permission to use it under a certain age. Thoughts?

In my opinion, the health, safety, and wellbeing of a person should surpass any sort of religious beliefs.
So yes, protection and information should be available to our youth.
