Would you still tell someone you liked them even if you sensed they didn't feel the same way?

There are some cases where people do like others but they don't realize it until it's actually considered, but that usually just happens in movies and stuff. For me it depends on how much I really like the person if it's a small crush that more than likely means nothing then I wouldn't go through the trouble. If I actually had deep feelings for this person I would take the chance that's what romance is about taking chances and it'll keep you from having the "what ifs or you never know thoughts" because you'll actually know how that person feels.
