Long distance relationships of true love ?

I love someone deeply , they live in another country, and at this point we have not actually physically met , but are close.
But The distance has become challenging and has caused some friction . Along with small individual issues , our worlds and lives are different , culturally and situational, but still we care for and love one another.
I so want to maintain and build a stronger respectful relationship , but it’s become more difficult . Physically and emotionally as it could is be a little more time until we could be together in some way shape or form .
Has anyone else had this experience? , and with patience it’s eventually worked out ?
Hey I loved your post, and I feel for you 😔 and yes this happened to me back in 2016, I met the love of my life I flew out to Philippines later that year and then in 2017 we married and in 2018 she moved here in the uk and is here with me, I cannot stress the importance of keeping a close bond together, what you have to keep focused on is the trust between you two , and staying in contact each day, the physical and emotions side will play it’s part it you gotta decide what you want for each other and set out your plans to be with other if that’s what you wanna do, once you have those goals your mind will focus on that and help to ease everything else, unfortunately because your not physically together you have to make the best of a difficult situation if you truly love and cherish each other and trust each other 100% then I don’t see why it can’t, you mentioned about cultural differences so I ask does your families know about you two? or is this a secret relationship kinda thing ? All I know is , from experience that if you both want the same thing then you can both make it work

Patience helped me. I started a ldr 14 years ago. It was tough I yearned for the physical. 4 months later we took the plunge met and never polked back. It was meant to be.

I wish you well

We met online April 2010. I flew out Feb 2012. Then again that summer. He came over for christmas and new year. We married December 2014. Cosa took a year to sort out, but also wanted to tie up loose ends. Had 2 years no visits.

@Wishingwellguy wrong people both the time. Real people are real long distance is hard n seldom fruitful. Investing time, energy, loyalty n in the end its just gamble.
Real life is way diff than what we see on web cam. They all present the best. I feel so unlucky i cant even tell u.
All the best!
No,I haven't.
