When I was a teenager I thought I had bad break ups from boyfriends especially where there was "philandering" involved.
But all these experiences paled in comparison to when my male cat, "Freddy", who was my bosom pal for 8 years since he was a 12 week old kitten, who nightly slept on my bed, and provided both solace and entertainment many countless times....started hanging out with my neighbor, another girl about my age, 15 years old. What was even worse the nights I thought he was out at night gallivanting or hunting down rodents....he was with her....on her bed.....snuggling with her!!
Talk about being mad and jealous!!
I got his attention back when I got another kitty, a young female from the rescue animal shelter. Now he was jealous and came back to me every night to make sure he didn't lose his prime spot on the bed.
Didn't contact each other for almost 2 months then heard from her friend that she's getting married, and I was like ok! That's fast.... Went kinda smoothly though. I think she has a baby now.
@LostGuy Most likely, she was already cheating then. There's something else going on when there's that silence and the sudden 'boom'. And for you, that's great. Because you deserve better my man, you'll get someone who will care for you more than she ever would. That's just an assumption though. I like to believe that it wasn't the case. More importantly, you shared your background. So thank you. I hope only the best for you man.

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I'm not sure. I was adamant to cutting the contact between her and me. And no matter how she got in contact with me, i never responded. She eventually grew tired i'm guessing. What's funny is that she even found someone else, and still stalked me xD I feel bad for him.
@Stubbornsoul you telling my story or yours? My ex from hell also had a bf! I also made every effort to demonstrate I wasn't interested. You just tediously give them your name, rank and serial number and they give up and leave you alone,bright? Not this one! She took it as just some cruel game I was playing and I really wanted her!
I wasn’t entirely certain I was going to literally survive leaving them. Even after I did actually get out I still received a lot of harassment for so long I had to retreat from most social media & changed numbers etc. Some people are really unstable & dangerous. Happy to hear that’s over for you
