Are you accepting of open relationships?

I recently just got married. Me and my now husband, have always had an open relationship. We've recently just had to share this with our families and they are not very accepting. I have a serious boyfriend and a girlfriend. My husband has a serious girlfriend also.

Wife and I have been married for 14 years.
We have been swingers for over 7 years
We have had an open marriage for over 4 years.

People need to understand that there is a difference between sharing your body and sharing your heart mind and soul....Nobody shares those but each other.
As long as it is not open to fill in a void of something missing in the marriage.

Communication is key and knowing that we can stop at any time and know we still have an amazing marriage makes it work.

For us a Swing lifestyle is about just being realistic and making expectations attainable. Sex is only an aspect, a fraction of a marriage/relationship. It shouldn't pull so much power. Treating it with respect but with liberal restraints can create a very healthy sexual life.
