Is it wrong (or discriminatory) to have a preference for who you want to date?

I used to be really selective. But a friend (my old church leader from univ) encouraged me to give it a go. I reckon she may be right. So now I'm saying yes to opportunities, even to those I only like as friends. We'll see what happens.
