Trust your gut instincts or trust the person’s word?

An acquaintance of mine (20 or so years older than me) told me to visit him at his hotel room and promised that he would be a gentleman. I refused because my gut instinct told me so.

What would you do in such a situation 🤔

Yep. I did not meet him that day. It was peak summer and I was too lazy to step out for coffee, which is what we had finally agreed on :)
