Date night ideas?

My wife and try to go on dates as often as we can. But it’s hard to break out of the dinner-and-a-movie rut.

Looking for ideas of what you do on your dates with your long-time partner!

Dinner cruise or just go for a long drive
BryanSunshine · 51-55, M
@MarineBob dinner cruise. Like this idea. Going to see if there are any local ones!

Something spontaneous! Don't plan, just put your shoes on and leave the house, see where it takes you!
BryanSunshine · 51-55, M
@JovialPlutonian We’ve done this and usually end up shopping! What have you guys ended up doing when you’ve tried this?
JovialPlutonian · 36-40, M
@BryanSunshine many things; gone for walks in the woods, made love in the woods, almost got caught by members of the public. Idk jump on a bus, go into the city, see where it takes you.

My mom (56) and stepdad (59) don't really go on dates, they kinda just run errands together. It's not very romantic, but it's quality time

Mini golf, go carts, go to the fairgrounds win some prizes, eat some ribbon fries. Can always try outdoor movie showings, zoo etc.

Go out and dance.
Slow romantic and sensual dancing.
Seduce your wife.

Bike ride. Ghost tour. Yoga class. That thing people do having appetizer at one place, main course at another and dessert at a third.

In the summer, there is often music in the parks. That's fun.
My wife and I are both into art, we like to visit museums
Newfound · 41-45, M
Sky diving!
BryanSunshine · 51-55, M
@Newfound oh I wish!! That would be a blast!! Have you done this?
