Am I overreacting?

I’ve been talking to a guy for almost two weeks now but we’re not at the dating stage, just getting to know each other. Everything was fine at the beginning, we texted a lot as well as talked on the phone for long hours. Last weekend he got so busy with work, mother’s day and a birthday party which I understand but ever since then we haven’t been communicating much. He’s the one who asked to take me out and spend time with him. He seems like a great guy and everything it’s just the lack of communication which scares me and makes me think we won’t get any further. I just asked him if he really wants to take me out.

Now that I think about it I should’ve waited a few days or so to see if he would message me but do you guys think it was ok for me to do so?

Maybe, maybe not .. It never hurts to ask, but at the same times people don't like being pressured... The bottom line is this communicate differently, there's often less of it lol... Do don't judge him by our standards or he will come up short... And one more thing, don't out all your eggs in one basket, keep doing the things you like and if he comes along, great

In the moment I wanted to ask and after I was like dang it I seem like a crazy girl who barely knows this guy he’s probably thinking the same like can she back up we don’t know each other. But I mean I don’t blow up his phone or anything I just asked this one simple question so I won’t waste my time

@FlowerchildK16 he may also just be busy you know... Just move on and see if he comes to the party :)
