I think it does.
You will find another love.

Let me rephrase.
It depends on what end of the stick you were on in the relationship.
If you were loved in a way that is hard to replace, then it is harder to get over, but the pain will dull down.

It depends who it was and when in my life.. My first real girlfriend was when I was 18 and we split up after six months and I pined for her for about three years. My first marriage ended and I thought it not possible to hurt so much and not die, I was in one hell of a state. I have had relationships and loved and cared deeply within them and when it's ended it's had various effects from 'That was nice, move on and a fond farewell' to Unspeakable grief.

It gets better, but there will always be residual pain. It's not necessarily A bad thing - we can learn from it if we want to.

Something better always comes along though. I really believe that.
