Baggage aside, I'm talking about something that left long-term psychological damage.

What happened?

What have you done, or had to do, to recover?

Was 'recovery' ever even possible?

@BalmyNites My heart goes out to you in waves of sympathy and empathy. Loss knows so many faces. It can leave gashes of such intense tragedy across the life and lives of those closest, and it is not meant for you to get over. Perhaps all you can do then, is carry it in honor, close to your heart.
