Are you, or were you at one time, damaged goods?

Baggage aside, I'm talking about something that left long-term psychological damage.

What happened?

What have you done, or had to do, to recover?

Was 'recovery' ever even possible?

Honestly lots. Parents death. Brothers death. Wife's death. Drug addiction homelessness. I'm many many years clean. I'm a dad. A grandad. Currently undergoing EMDR. But I'm surviving 🙂🖒

@Thingschange4444 I'm glad, and surely not the only one who is, that you're still here despite all you've been through. Having children and grandchildren in your life has hopefully helped give some stability through so much loss and grief.
