True i never expected to bump into my ex. I knew i still loved him but if you had told me we'd get back together after twenty years apart of never have believed it!but it happened!

Yes and no. It comes in the sense that not obsessing and idealizing love makes it easier to be approachable and also accepting of feelings that can grow into love. It's not true in the sense that you can forget about finding a partner let yourself go and suddenly be courted by the partner of your dreams.
