My friend’s guy friend lied to her about me and it upset me. Due to this I cancelled a movie plan and she was pisssd with me

I felt that she was trusting him blindly and I even had proof to show her that he was lying.
I quit the whatsapp group that I was part of as well.
Have I done anything wrong? My mood was off and I did not feel like going for the movie. She was pissed with me for that

Ive known her for a year - part of a Meetup ladies group. Anyway I quit the group yesterday. I guess now all of my weekends will be at home 🙄
