My friend’s guy friend lied to her about me and it upset me. Due to this I cancelled a movie plan and she was pisssd with me

I felt that she was trusting him blindly and I even had proof to show her that he was lying.
I quit the whatsapp group that I was part of as well.
Have I done anything wrong? My mood was off and I did not feel like going for the movie. She was pissed with me for that

She wanted to call this guy for the movie since another girl had canceled. I told her that frankly it would be odd for me because this guy had blocked me on “Meetup”. She said Meetup has no blocking option and that he told her that I was the one who blocked him. I had proof to show her that he was lying. Just felt hurt because I felt that she was doubting me
