I would consider him or her someone who once was a friend. Perhaps even a friend who I identified with, learned from and admired.
Maybe a person who decided I wasn't worth being kind to in a moment of my own pure pain. Pain I'm sorry anyone should go through, but pain one cannot say was unwarranted. Pain my "friend" could not see well enough to understand or, especially, pardon, in the end.
Perception is reality, after all.
But, hey: that's me.
We all make our own choices.
My choices?
Chocolate. Not vanilla.
Family over friends.
Spiritual rather than physical.
Physical over digital.
(Erm...?)
And tetherball over all other non-sports.
It is, after all, the only non-sport I could ever beat anyone at. And as Olenna Tyrell once said, in another lifetime, "I was very good."
