That’s so sad. I pray that things will get better for you :(

Sorry. I hope you don't feel lonely. Also your husband loves back. 🤗

Your last word pretty much says it all. Hope you make moves to change that, either within your marriage or by getting out. Time is too precious to waste and the years go by very quickly.

@LyricalOne I'm just scared that I wanted all these years and that he will make someone else happy when all this time he denied me that happiness. He tells me when I deserve it he will give me attention

@Yesterday Be more scared to stay and waste years of your life you can never get back. He sounds like a cruel man. You deserve better. Work on learning to believe that.

@Yesterday He will probably take up with someone else just to torture you with the idea you were not good enough so he can get you back after she gives up on him. It's what guys like this do. But I think if you take a clear look at him you will see he is not capable of making any woman happy past the initial love bombing stage. He's got you working hard for scraps of his love as he uses his inattention to spur you on to greater efforts. Don't give him much of your attention anymore. Focus your attention on other things. Find some really engaging interesting things to do. Learn a new language, or go back to school and learn a medical tech career, or take up a fascinating new hobby (how about metal detecting? Or learning to ride a unicycle?), go on an archeological dig, volunteer to help someone learn to read, take up quilting, anything but waiting around to see if Mr. Wonderful will decide you've finally earned a bit of time with him.

Okay... 🤔
I get it.
I get it.

@Yesterday People who marry are agreeing to provide companionship without having to "earn it" from one another; earning it is what we do on a job, or if we're prostitutes, not what we do at home with family and spouses.
