Is it okay to be in a relationship where you give too much but never get anything back?

I am a people pleaser by nature so I don’t keep score of how much I give. I love to please my wife daily. Her thanks and recognition that I am her attentive husband is all I need.

If you love him/her/them, then you should not be counting, and simply giving yourself to them..
