@Isthisit That's nice. It's hard to watch people we care about make mistakes, but unfortunately, at least in some cases, we have no choice. If we try to catch them before they fall, they strike out and resist our help, and they end up falling just as hard in the end. Only now, the relationship between the two of you is strained, and you are less likely to be able to help. You might just be better off to look the other way, until they crash, and then you can help them heal afterward? I don't know the answer, it's just a suggestion.

@Isthisit I understand. I've been there, done that, and certainly I suspect I'll do it again. Tis easy to preach, but the real task is to practice that which you've preached. I rarely show up at church, if you know what I'm saying. lol I hope that things work out better for your friend than you think, and if not, I hope you both survive it relatively unscathed. Your friend is lucky yo have you.
