April 1989 at the ripe old age of 24. Made up for it a lot since.
I'm kinda amazed myself that I don't know the exact date (it might even have been late March)... my only excuse is that after all those years of lonely waiting I was just having too much fun to care! All I can tell you is that it was a Saturday afternoon.
EDIT: looking at a calendar I'm thinking probably 15th April or maybe 22nd April or just possibly 25th March. It definitely wasn't 1st April, I'd've remembered that!! and I think it was double digits.
Who cares anyway... I remember where and with whom and that's the most important thing. xx
