Is it normal for a guy with many female friends to have a hard time finding a girlfriend?

Not sure if there's a correlation, but since it seems rather unusual to me considering pretty much all other guys my age that I know mostly have guy friends and really no trouble meeting girls and dating them, I'm starting to feel like there might be one.

Yes it is typical and probably related to how you treat these women upon first meeting them.

If you are interested in dating you need to make that clear early on, otherwise you risk being friend zoned. Once you are friends with a woman its very difficult to move the relationship to dating and romance.
