I called my ex after a 3 month breakup please dont give up reading x

He spoke to me he was ok but kept reminding me that it was me that split with him. Then after me trying to sort things out between us he told me he had met and slept with someone two weeks ago and is dating her. I told him I still loved him and wanted him back. He said it's not that easy & I get it.... but i felt he didn't want me thats why I split with him. He's turned the table and said I should have called sooner I did but he didn't say he wanted me back. The call ended with him saying he would call me tomorrow night. I'm scared to pick up the phone because he may choose to keep dating the new woman. I get the ferling he's playing with my emotions. This is the short version sorry.

Relationship ending is hard and there is no simple answer.... we don’t know the particulars. We want to empathise with you, understanding your predicament, but that doesn’t make our opinions right.

It may be best to occupy your mind with something else and move forward with your life. Time will ease the pain to some degree

@yeronlyman all makes sense I just don't know if I have the strength to ignore his call tomorrow. I asked when he was calling and he said after the football. Another stab in second place it's not even his team that's playing. I can't believe it all.

if he’s watching a football match it’s not a competition just a prearranged activity

@yeronlyman The game is on his tv he's watching alone. He used to chst during games. Anyway I'm driving myself mad analyzing.
