What to think?

Friend found a perfume sample bottle at a male friends house.
The male friend is completely confused and says he doesn't know where it has come from. (Genuinely doesn't ).
A few days later, she asks him why he is hiding a girlfriend from her.
What would you be thinking?

Here's the most likely explanation: he has a secret girlfriend, but she is a Russian spy. She has stolen sensitive material from the Trump administration, which can be used to blackmail the government, because they contain evidence that the president is a homo. But the whole thing has been discovered by the NSA. Now she is hiding in his attic, but, unfortunately, she lost her parfume, and Robert Swan Mueller III has already been informed.
